Ultraviolet Disinfector The TRU-D
total room ultraviolet disinfector manufactured by Lumalier Corporation is a
patented product which delivers Ultraviolet-C energy in a highly efficacious,
yet safe manner to eradicate reservoirs of pathogens where they exist on
surfaces and in the air. There are no known bacteria or viruses, even anthrax
that can survive UV-C energy.
The TRU-D is a fully- automated room
decontamination tool.
The device is activated by a wireless remote
control, with a motion sensing technology, ensuring safety for the operator as
well as those who would attempt to enter the room while the unit is in use. The
device automatically determines the room's darkest area based upon a reflected
dose of UV-C and calculates the required duration of a given intensity to
obtain a 3-6 log kill even in shadowed areas of a room such as dark corners,
behind beds, underneath tables, etc. No other device on the market has a
capability that equals the TRU-D. The device leaves no harmful residue or
vapors.
